1、保送帶運轉(zhuǎn)速度普通不宜大于2.5m/s，塊度大，磨損性大的物料和運用固定梨的卸料安裝應(yīng)盡量采用低速。

2、滾筒保送機的傳動滾筒直徑與保送帶布層的關(guān)系、傳動滾筒、改向滾筒的配套以及對托輥槽角的請求應(yīng)依據(jù)運輸機的設(shè)計規(guī)則,合理選取。

3、給料方向應(yīng)順保送帶的運轉(zhuǎn)方向，為減小物料下落時對保送帶的沖擊應(yīng)采溜槽，減小物料落差間隔；保送帶受料段，應(yīng)縮短托輥間距和采用緩沖托輥為漏料，保送帶順應(yīng)采用柔軟適度的擋料板，以免檔料板過硬，刮破保送帶的帶面。

4、保送機在運用時，針對托輥短少，應(yīng)及時添加及修好，托輥被物料掩蓋，形成回轉(zhuǎn)不靈，避免漏料卡于滾筒與膠帶之間，留意保送帶活動局部的光滑，但不得油污保送帶。

5、防止保送帶遭受機架，支柱或塊狀物料的阻滯，避免碰破扯裂，發(fā)現(xiàn)保送帶部分破損時，應(yīng)用人造棉及時修補，以免擴展。
