The main parameters are generally determined according to the requirements of material handling system, various conditions of material handling location, relevant consumption process and material characteristics.

①保送才能:保送機的保送才能是指單位時間內(nèi)保送的物料量。在保送散狀物料時，以每小時保送物料的質(zhì)量或體積計算;在保送成件物品時，以每小時保送的件數(shù)計算。

(1) Delivery ability: Delivery ability of a delivery machine refers to the amount of material delivered per unit time. In the delivery of bulk materials, the quality or volume of materials per hour is calculated; in the delivery of finished goods, the number of pieces per hour is calculated.

②保送速度:進步保送速度能夠進步保送才能。在以保送帶作牽引件且保送長度較大時，保送速度日趨增大。

(2) Delivery speed: Advanced Delivery speed can improve Delivery ability. When the delivery belt is used as tractor and the delivery length is large, the delivery speed is increasing day by day.

但高速運轉的帶式保送機需留意振動、噪聲和啟動、制動等問題。關于以鏈條作為牽引件的保送機，保送速度不宜過大，以避免增大動力載荷。同時停止工藝操作的保送機，保送速度應按消費工藝請求肯定。

However, the high-speed belt conveyor should pay attention to vibration, noise, starting, braking and other issues. 擋邊保送帶為大傾角波狀擋邊保送帶，擋邊保送帶早由英國公司研制勝利，并且開端推行。我國是由日本引進推行消費。

大傾角波狀擋邊帶由基帶、擋邊、橫隔板3局部組成。擋邊起避免物料測滑撒落的作用。為便于繞過滾筒，檔邊設計成波紋狀；橫隔板的作用是承托物料，為了完成大傾角保送，采用T型TC型。檔邊和橫隔板是用二次硫化的辦法與基帶銜接的，具有很高的銜接強度。
